In the last few days of the end of the year, Feiao threw out another nuclear bomb. The launch of the flagship portable player M15 caused a lot of shock to the HIFI circle. The unprecedented reputation brought it a lot of attention and heat, and even became a new "Dream Device" for many burning friends 」. After two weeks of trial, I was deeply impressed by the new design, ancestral materials and fierce sound quality of M15, which has become my new EDC front end. here, I would like to share with you my trial experience ~

Although stacking may not necessarily represent good voice, good hardware is the basis for training, and miracles often occur. Packing is more sincere than cutting corners.
is the flagship player. It still uses the strongest SOC in DAP, Samsung Exynos7872. The performance of this CPU is about double that of Qualcomm's 425. Feiao has used three generations and has been optimized and eaten thoroughly, giving M15 the smoothness and response speed close to mainstream mobile phones.
Although this master is a bit old and only supports Android 7.0 at most, it is already the best choice that Chinese brick manufacturers can buy. DAP cannot buy a newer and stronger master at all... The main control performance such as Youshang's MTK is simply not seen.
DAC is the core of the audio part.
In addition to SP2000,M15 is currently the only portable player that uses Asahi Kasei AK4499, and uses two pieces at a time. 4499 is currently the DAC with the highest single-chip index. It has been upgraded from a 4497 two-channel structure to a four-channel structure. If two-channel is used, it means that each channel of M15 is connected in parallel by four-channel DAC, which greatly improves the theoretical signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range.
Feiao also talked about the DAC design process at the press conference. The cooperation with AKM was very deep this time. The decoding circuit was almost jointly developed. The Japanese headquarters provided a large amount of technical support for design and tuning. AKM's China president also attended the press conference on the same day.
Except for these two core components, other materials in the sound quality part have not shrunk at all.

In the front end that can be taken out of the door, the only possibility I have ever heard that can obviously surpass the sound quality of M15 is Hugo2.
M15 is relatively full and atmospheric, more intense than M11 and M11 Pro, and similar to SP2000. The low frequency has very excellent performance, with sufficient sense of quantity, but the texture is relatively compact, not paste or loose, and has very good dynamics. A very surging atmosphere can be obtained with headphones with low frequency diving and deep rebound.
The intermediate frequency is slightly warmer and closer, and the surrounding feeling is relatively strong. Texture is a soft and delicate style with AKM characteristics. It has no obvious dyeing, sufficient density, rich layers, no deliberate lightening or darkening, and is relatively loose as a whole. The Mid Treble part of the medium and high frequency connection is very bright, and the instrument and female voice have very good transparency and details. The extremely high frequency is not like the bright and "rough" orientation of 9038Pro, which still maintains the mildness and restraint of the Japanese DAC. Its orientation is very suitable for expressing strong vocals, such as Karise Eden and Adele, especially Live, which has a very real and Emotional atmosphere.
M15 has a flagship-level open sound field, precise image formation and sufficient resolution. The most characteristic is the explosion dynamics brought by sufficient thrust. Turn on the big ear mode and match the strong dynamic earphones with large unit amplitude, the focal Elex, to listen to the symphony scene or the original sound of the movie in the big scene, which is very close to the performance of the desktop system. Pushing the plug is even more like playing. Z1R, a plug that is difficult to push, takes off at a little volume. The output internal resistance is low enough, and there is no problem with all kinds of low-resistance moving iron. LO receives SP200 and still has an audible improvement, so if Feiao upgrades the THX earpiece part in the future and launches M15 Pro, the sound quality will have further breakthroughs.
to sum up, I can't pick out any problems with the sound quality of M15. The decoding quality is extremely high, the tuning is positive and atmospheric, the earpiece part has huge thrust, dynamic surging, and the resolution and sound field are of top level. In fact, the sound quality of portable players has basically come to an end. If there is no breakthrough in core technology (such as THX AAA), there will be no new rolling grade products in the short term, so there is really no need to pursue more expensive portability.
many people are curious about the comparison between M15 and PAW6000. Xiao Mo Ju is a very good player, but in front of M15, there is basically only a size advantage, and the difference in function and sound quality is still obvious, especially the fullness and thrust of sound, M15 is obviously higher than one position. According to the selling price, I personally recommend M15 more.
Feiao M15, as the most expensive product in Feiao's product line, is fully worthy of the position of the flagship. It has excellent workmanship and appearance design, the hardware foundation of stacking materials to the extreme, rich wireless functions, excellent system fluency and expansibility, the highest sound quality performance in the portable player and the powerful thrust without the right, and basically cannot find any hard injuries and deficiencies.
